The first day of the holidays. Net isn't really working and currently at this computer course programme that my mum is participating in, so i am just tagging along. :L Seems to be quite interesting atm and i should learn something new.
Brief Update:
Last week Judy and I went to Newcastle University for a week and undertook varies activities of maths and science with 180 other girls. It was really really really really fun! We stayed in a room each, for five nights in a house with nine other girls and a house mother. These girls were from all over the place ranging from broken hill, coffs Harbour to down near Aubury, some living on farms, near the beach, in the city and out in suburbs like Judy and I. I found it pretty amazing how all these girls living in different environments could come together to share their interests and enjoy their time together.
Basically the week was all about broadening your knowledge on the jobs available for girls interested in a having a job in maths and science and i have ablsolutely no regrets in participating in this course.
The rest of the house we were staying with, our house mother on the far right, and in the middle a lady that is on the inventers show, Bernie something, forgot her name.
Yesterday the school had their movie day. It was quite a wierd movie we saw at the cinema "A Christmas Carol". It was quite scary at one stage and many people screamed during the movie but then there were times when the movie was quite boring and people fell asleep. :L
