OK let me inform you on how i have recently been spending my holidays. It all started that one fateful day ...
:L Maybe not that dramatic but about 2 week ago i sat down next to my mum as she was knitting and complained at how tedious my holidays were. Then she suggested why don't i learn how to knit but to me, when someone mentions knitting, the first thing that comes to mind is a picture of old grannies and i don't think i have the patience to sit down and knit. Then i asked her, why didn't she teach me how to sew. I remember not long ago Judy wanted to sew a skirt and thinking about it, it seemed like a good idea.
Nothing much happened after that until a week later when we were a Liverpool library and decided to stop by Spotlight, where i picked out a pattern for shorts, which we returned to collect the day after, along with a metre and a half of material.
Then for the next four days i assisted my mum in making the shorts. Originally my plan was to do it on my own but that proved too difficult so i just helped. My mum said it would be too hard to start with shorts, especially these ones as it was full of 39 complicated steps to complete but here is the final product ...
(with adjustable length)
Since that proved too hard i may do a skirt on my own in the next couple of weeks, which only has about 13 steps and i was told is the best option if you are a beginner and if i can be bothered. :D
