Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!
Wow, I can't believe it's that time of the year again. Already! Time sure flies...
The weather is so beautiful today, and I feel good as well ^_^ I hope everyone is having a great time spending their Christmas eve with their family and friends!
So this is the last Christmas Jacinta and I will be celebrating as school students.... This time next year, we would've received our ATAR already and have opened our time capsule together :3
2011 has gone by so quickly, just like other years. Looking back, Jacinta and I started this blog when we were only in year 9. And look at us now, we are seniors with one year left to go!
We have definitely gone a long way and I am so glad that we still call each other best friends :)
Christmas day is also an indication that the year is coming to an end. This year has been one of the best years of my high school life. But then again, I can say that for every year, right?
Like Jacinta said, life is a beautiful and wonderful place. And deciding to spend my high school life at mmc was something I am so glad I have done.
Throughout this year, I've strengthened many of my relationships with others, inside of school as well as outside. I've met so many great people who've left an imprint in my life and changed me into a better person (I hope) lol. Most definitely, there were moments in this year that I believe will become long-lasting high school memories...
So maybe I should recap on some events that occurred this year thus far:
- Wearing blue blouse for the first time to signify the transition into a senior student
- Starting preliminary work which was a big leap from year 10 work
- Discovering my ambitions and sense of self
- Burying our first time capsule which we plan to open after the release of our atar score
- Bike riding to McDonald's and playing in the playground (got sick after that, which explains a lot about my fitness level)
- Jacinta and I attending Awards Evening together, coming first in 6 courses altogether (three each!)
- Year 11 retreat
- Starting Saturday school and thus forming new friendships
- Going to Parramatta together for the very first time :D
- Starting the HSC course
..... can't think anymore xD
All in all, this year has been a great one! Hopefully, 2012 will be even better for us both :D
P.S. Jacinta, I am so excited to spend 2012 with you! There are so many things I'm anticipating and so many events we will be experiencing together. I know, I just know that our collection of good memories will keep growing and growing as we proceed into a new year. I am honestly so happy that I know that this will happen like it always has (\(^ω^)(\ (\(^ω^)(\ (\(^ω^)(\
